BioMatthew Alan Chase, Esquire--Lawyer and best friend to Lee Dubenko, M.D.
Matthew and Lee have been friends since childhood where they attended the same boarding school in New England. He has a successful law firm in Richmond, Virginia primarily a trial lawyer though he does handle most of Dubenko's legal needs as well.
Felicia Mansfield Dubenko
Felicia is Lee's mother. A frigid and seemingly emotionless woman who has never had use for anyone she deems beneath her. She generally feels everyone is beneath her. Widowed for more than thirty years, she has never sought out another relationship and has instead seen fit to try and meddle in her son's marriages.
Mrs. Johnson--aka Old Bat
The Dubenko's elderly neighbor. She disapproves of most things going on in the neighborhood but has an odd hobby of keeping tabs on the surgeon's family in particular. She has a german shepard named Killer that she adores and is baffled by the constant fliers she gets from the sinful PFLAG organization.
Munchkin Dubenko---aka Puppyhead
Sophia's overzealous chocolate labrador. Munch eats things. Lots of things. All the time. He's happy about this.
